ANYHOO...... our munchkies!
August 2008 ~ fast forward to ~ July 2011
The kids were so good all morning (much to the credit of a new Rapunzel Barbie for Adrienne, a John Deere tractor for Nick and beach toys for all) but after eating it was time to hit up the famed backyard water park.
Yes, his hair is THAT blonde. And he's got blue eys to match. PRECIOUS!!
Mima needed seesawing instruction.
"No, no. Like THIS."
"LISTEN to me. This is how you do it."
"HEY! You're not doin' it right!!"
"You go DOOOWWWNNN, not up!"
"OK Mima, let's try this again."
Can't actually remember why we had them start screaming.... but James' face in this is HYSTERICAL!
And he got the last word (umm, I mean scream) in edgewise.
Of you're a woman looking at this picture no words are necessary....
For all the men folk, if you've ever heard the term 'good hair day' and not understood what that actually means, here you go...
Veg'tables, smedgetables.
I don't WANNA eat my vegetables!
That's ok. Nick will eat James' share.
Nom nom nom nom nom!!!
Now for the story of Pink Mama...
Earlier in the day Nick and James were playing under John's watch. Nick suddenly stood up, looked around and asked, "Where's your pink mama?"
Needless to say, the name stuck & Jana must wear pink every time we get together for the rest of our lives!!
After slippin' n' slidin', mud, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, scooters & bikes, seesaw & play house, food and trimming up Nick's mohawk there's only one thing left to do.......
Bath time!!
After an action packed day, she cuddled up with Rapunzel-Barbie for a little downtime...
... but even with his tractor at his fingertips he couldn't fight the nap.
