November - Aminol Kingdom

Our little tour guides planning the day ahead at Animal Kingdom.
First we'll hit wohs gniK noiL ehT, dnal onid then the irafas...
.... wait a minute! This thing was printed upside down!!!

The first animal we spot! A warthog! NICE.
Everyone (including me) takes the same touristy picture of the Tree of Life from afar. Well...... I thought it would be a really unique to get a shot of the kids in front of the tree taken from a 'bugs eye view'. Turns out that's a really, REALLY bad angle. YIKES!!!

Elton & Kiki.... right?!?!
(now I can't get it out of my head.... "Don't go breaking my heart...")

Fret not. This was no teleportation experiment gone awry... just a much better execution of getting a "bug's eye view" - quite literally through the eyes of a bug!

Adrienne's playing peek-a-boo. Nick's hand was mid-whap to swat Greg in the head. Hey, a bug is a bug is a bug!

We turned the corner and there was a meet & great with Pooh, Tigger & Eeyore!

Forget me.... I love the way she's looking up at Tigger!

Greg and I got to ditch the kids to have a little thrill on Expedition Everest.

Meanwhile, Mima & Pop Pop had the budding paleontologists over at the dino dig site.

The resident fossil hunter came over to assist the crew.
Assist them to do WHAT we weren't really sure since we thought they pretty much had the shovel-the-gravel-into-the-bucket technique perfected.

But THEN!
Corinne found the saber tooth paw print.

STOP!!
THE!!
PRESSES!!

Time to hoof it to the other side of the park for The Lion King show.
Hey.....! I'm DIGGING the new chauffeurs!
(and Nick keeping an eye on Achoo - making sure he's right by his side)

Sure everyone is bright-eyed and bushy-tailed here...

.... but about 5 minutes into the roar (literally!) of the show Nick passed out (and here I thought Sash was the master at that...) and missed the whole thing.

After the show, we met Miss Bunny....

... and Br'er Rabbit!
(I'm PRETTY sure Adrienne & Nick were the only 2 kids at the park who actually KNEW who he was...)
Turn another corner and there was Pocahontas!

We had JUST decided to leave the park when we got caught up in the parade (check!).
My favorite happened to be the very first float-contraption - a peacock.
Which was followed by Mima's favorite ~ a giraffe.

Prime seating for the parade!

And then all the usual characters...

We split up that night... Mima & Pop Pop took the kids to Boma - Flavors of Africa for dinner...
... while Greg & I spent the evening at The Yacht Club.
Nothing says a 'romantic night out' like animal carcasses. (an ironic twist considering where we spent the day...)
OK, ok..... it was AMAZING.
We hit the brewery on the Boardwalk afterwards.... and I had to take this because we STILL hear about 'cowzooks' from 'The Easter Bunny is Coming to Town'.

Disney Day 4 - DONE!
